Goo.gl is considered a champion of speed in a shortened service link (URL shortener), according to a new survey released by the company Pingdom.

--Company web reviews Pingdom has released survey results on the reduced service is the fastest speed link on the web today. In this study, Pingdom not assess the short link services for specialized applications and also does not consider the factor of security that focus only compare two factors: the stability and speed.

--To rate the shortened link service, Pingdom has done tests on these services in 25 different locations in North America and Europe. Pingdom survey results found that the average open time (average page load) for each service link is shortened slightly different among geographical regions. For example, the speed of Bit.ly open in North America is in the range 100 to 200 ms (milliseconds) and about 400 ms in the European region.

Goo.gl: average page load time: less than 100 ms.
Is.gd: average page load time: about 200 ms (note: page load time in North America is higher, about 200 to 300 ms).
Bit.ly: average page load time: 200 to 300 ms (note: page loading times lower than in North America, about 100 to 200 ms.)
TinyURL: average page load time: 200 to 300 ms. (Note: page load time in North America is higher, around 300 ms)
Ow.ly: average page load time: 200 to 300 ms. (Note: page load time in North America about 200 ms)
Snipurl: average page load time: 200 to 300 ms. (Note: page load time in North America about 100 to 200 ms)
Twurl: average page load time: about 500 to 600 ms. (Note: page load time in North America is higher, about 600 to 700 ms).
