I have Google desktop installed on my PC, and now I've put this Google Search plug-in on my Smartphone. The add-on places a search bar on your Windows Mobile home screen, allowing you to query the search engine directly from there.
It's dead easy to use. You just type your query and hit the Enter button. Internet Explorer is then loaded displaying the search results page. There are a few options to tinker with, including a quick-link to the Google home page, a 'Change Location' setting, plus the ability to search for mobile-optimized results only.
I would've liked to have seen some more options and features bolted on, such as the ability to peruse other Google services, such as Images or News. But then, I guess the point of this one is to keep things as simple as possible.
While it lacks a little in functionality, Google Search offers one of the quickest ways to look things up on your mobile device.

As is the case for many, not a day goes by when I don't do a Google search. As a result, I'm always looking at ways I can perform my daily ritual quicker and more easily.
