Elephant-Origami
Delightfully folded money can be given as tips, for example, in restaurants. They can also be given as wedding present, for example, a dollar bill butterfly. It’s an interesting twist to the age-old concept of cash gifts.


Origami Tie Craft-Origami
Made with origami paper it is the perfect size for a card. If you use a square of larger paper (such as gift wrap, brown paper or wallpaper) you could make a "life-size" tie: hole punch the top at each side, attach string, and wear your origami! Or use smaller squares (2 - 3 inch) to make ties for your teddies!


Butterfly-Origami
Somehow, I always pictured in my head that it would have to be possible to do a butterfly (pictured below), but it took me forever to come up with the fifth & sixth steps that appear below. When I finally did, I was quite surprised at the final appearance. In particular, the interesting symetrical pattern on the top of the wings came as a pleasant shock.


The Boots-Origami

Each boot takes one bill, so you'll want to start with two dollars so you can make a pair of boots.
As with all these designs, try to start with relatively clean, crisp bills. It will go much easier. All folds should be sharply creased. It helps to go over the fold with a fingernail on a flat, hard surface.
