24. (ME, XP) Go back in time:
When your computer acts strangely, then use System Restore to return to the previous stable state. Select Start, Programs (All Programs if it is Windows XP), Accessories, System Tools, System Restore, select Restore my computer to an earlier time, Next, and follow the instructions.
25. (ME, XP) Set your system restore points:
Whenever you want to change the system, you should create a system restore point before you start to have problems if they can regain this status. Open System Restore as described in the previous section, select Create a Restore Point, click Next, and follow the instructions that appear. Note: create a restore point manually as above shall not be required before you install software, update or install the device, Windows will do this automatically for you.
26. (XP) Customize functional restoration, part 1:
