16. (XP) Password Protection:
Press Enter, select your Account, click Prevent a Forgotten Password in the list of Related Tasks, and then follow the steps described in detail Forgtoten Password Wizard.
17. (XP) when processing password, part 1:
If you do not have the password reset disk, log into the OS with a different administrator account, open User Accounts in Control Panel (Section 16), select the account that you forgot your password, click Change the password, and implementation then instructions to reset your password.
18. (XP) when password Handling, part 2:
If you do not have any other administrator account, reboot and press F8 key until you see a screen that allows to boot mode (Section 28). You choose to boot in Safe mode, and press Enter. When you see the Welcome screen appears, select Administrator (this is a hidden account with no password by default). Steps to reset the password, restart your computer.
19. (2K, XP) Power User:
When you log on with administrator rights, your system can be attacked by Trojan horse programs or other sexual risks. When you log on with Power User rights, you can avoid these risks and use the full features of Windows (you can switch easily Administrator when necessary, see below .) To reduce the right, choose Start, Run, type command and press Enter lusrmgr.msc. Select Groups, and double-click the Administrator s. But you must be a compulsory account listed in the Members list you can use when you need full administrator rights. Select the account to reduce the right, select Remove, and click OK Double-click Power Users, click Add, type the name of your A ccount, and click OK the 2nd.
20. Administrators do not regularly:
Power users need not log out and log back on to return as an administrator to run the program only be implemented under this authority.
